​Private residence in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City

We proposed a modern garden to match the concrete wall that serves as the backdrop in this tsuboniwa located at the far end of the house.
We reduced the number of viewpoints and adopted a water bowl of stone and plum trees.

The water bowl is a kiriko-shaped. The client liked the modern shape.

We dared to choose a delicate plum tree with a curved shape, and planted it in the joints between stones, referring to the ruins of Angkor Wat.
