The Japan National Tourism Organization asked us to create a garden in New York City.

The project was part of an event to attract tourism to Japan, and they wanted to create a Japanese garden in the main part of the event.

We had to procure all the stones, gravel, and plants locally, and it was difficult to gather the materials.

We had to build the garden in one night, from midnight to tomorrow morning. With the cooperation of Japanese people living in the area, we were able to complete the project within the time frame.

The use of edgy stones gave the impression of a modern garden while retaining the taste of a Japanese garden.
